How to get rid of cellulite

Welcome to my latest blog, this time I will be chatting about cellulite, a topic that has been popular conversation if the last few weeks….

Cellulite is a problem for around 95% of the population, plaguing mostly women, in areas such as legs, arms, bums, tums etc. Given the number of times I have been asked about cellulite remedies and treatments already this year, I am guessing it remains a huge problem for most ladies.

The dimpled appearance of cellulite is said to occur as a result of problems/imbalance in the connective tissue and fat in a person’s body, however, there are numerous theories around what causes this imbalance.
It would appear that lifestyle, hormones, diet, and our genetics all contribute to cellulite, although, this is not definitive. Whilst being overweight tends to result in a higher chance of getting cellulite, it is also seen in many thin women too.

How to get rid of cellulite

By far the Lipofirm plus is the most popular and effective therapy for treating cellulite; the Lipofirm plus works by emitting an ultra sonic wave onto the skins surface.

The wave causes friction in the fluid that surrounds the fat cells and in turn cause heat bubbles to form. Once the bubbles can not grow any bigger the pop and cause the near by fat cells to rupture.

Following the ultra sound cavitation, the area is treated with radio frequency, which, stimulates collagen production causing a tightening of the skin. By targeting the connective tissue and fat cells it’s possible to significantly reduce the appearance of cellulite.

The ingredients are forced into the skin where they go to work on breaking down the cellulite, the needling also causes a minor injury to the skin and tricks the body into thinking it has sustained an injury; resulting in collagen production and firmer skin.
